Halloween celebration at Skogstorpsskolan in Eskilstuna came to an abrupt end when a junior high student came to school dressed as Hitler – complete with swastika armband and the characteristic mustache.

The incident occurred on Friday during the school's Halloween week, where both students and staff were encouraged to dress up one. According to information from parents, the student must also have expressed Nazi views and opposed the teachers' statements.

After the principal was informed of the situation, the student's guardian was contacted and the student was picked up by his parents.

– Then had we had a follow-up conversation about values-based issues with the whole class, in which school counselors and mentors participated, about how something like this can be perceived and about what is okay and not okay, says Ann-Christin Arnold, principal at Skogstorpsskolan, to Eskilstuna-Kuriren.< /p>

She launched an internal investigation on Monday to examine how both students and staff perceived the incident.

Two abuse reports from students have been filed, and the principal is considering further disciplinary action, including a written warning .
