Biden gnawed on several children

Utrikes. US President Joe Biden surprised many by gnawing on three different children during a Halloween event on Thursday. The White House defends the behavior after criticism.

In photos and videos from the event, the 81-year-old president is seen greeting several small children and “biting” them in a playful way.

Joe Biden has previously been criticized for inappropriate behavior around children, but has defended himself by saying that is who he is – a physical and warm person.

A White House spokesman Andrew Bates told ABC News that the president behaved in a “joking” manner during Thursday's event.

It is the second time this week that the White House has had to defend Biden's behavior. Earlier this week, Biden made headlines when, at a virtual appearance, he called supporters of former President Donald Trump “garbage”.
