Media. A new study from the Technical University of Dortmund shows that a crushingly large percentage of German journalists sympathize with left-of-center parties. This is reported by Junge Freiheit.

Of the 525 journalists who took part in the survey, 23 percent stated that they did not want to name a party. p>
A whopping 64 percent state at the same time that they support left-leaning parties. The Green Party is by far the largest, with 41 percent of journalists' sympathies.
The Social Democrats (SPD) had support from 16 percent of those polled – while only eight percent sympathize with the Christian Democratic CDU and three percent with the left-liberal FDP.

The study also shows some public distrust, with 16 percent of Germans seeing journalism as unreliable, an increase of four percent from the previous year. At the same time, almost half of media consumers think that journalism has deteriorated and that the profession has lost contact with citizens.
Similar figures – with a particularly clear preference for the Swedish Green Party – have also been observed in the few similar measurements of journalists' party sympathies that were made in Sweden.
