Foreign. According to a recent survey by Yougov, 27 percent of Americans fear that a civil war could break out after the upcoming presidential election in the United States. It is reported by the Daily Mail.

The survey, which was conducted between October 18 and 21 with 1,266 respondents, shows that 6 percent believe that a civil war is ” very likely” and 21 percent that it is “somewhat likely”.
Both supporters of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris express similar concerns.
The survey also reveals that 12 percent of respondents feel someone they believe might take up arms if Trump loses the election in a way they believe is unfair, while 5 percent know someone who might do the same for Harris.
The survey shows deep political divides in the US – 84 percent of voters believe that the country is more divided than ten years ago.
