Domestic. A new survey by the Swedish Teachers' Union shows that eight out of ten teachers do not intend to report illegal immigrants, even if there were to be a law on it.

Almost 1,300 teachers took part in the survey, and the majority believe that such an obligation to provide information is against their professional ethics and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
– I am a teacher myself and previously taught for 30 years. Being a teacher means teaching, and it has nothing to do with reporting. Or for that matter being a border policeman. This proposal is completely wrong, says Anna Olskog, president of Sweden's teachers' union, to TV4 Nyheterna.
She also warns that many teachers may leave the profession if the proposal becomes reality.
The investigation if a possible information obligation is to be presented on November 29.
