These centers , funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), aims to facilitate the “integration” of Third World immigrants into Polish society.

The center will offer a range of services, including language courses, legal advice and psychological support. In addition, they will work with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to meet the needs of the large number of immigrants expected to arrive under the liberal coalition government led by Donald Tusk, former president of the European Council.

According to The European Commission will allow migrants to take advantage of a range of services free of charge, until they apply for a long-term residence permit within the EU. To qualify for such a permit, immigrants must, among other things, achieve B1 level in the Polish language.

Services at the integration centers will include courses on Polish history, constitutional principles and cultural heritage to give the migrants a broad understanding of Polish society. In addition, there will be programs to prevent domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as support with employment and labor rights.

In addition to EU funding through AMIF, Poland will contribute its own funds from both state and local budgets, with additional support from the European Social Fund.
