Mbappé's lawyer: “He was never alone during the evening”

Domestic. Kylian Mbappé's lawyer, Marie Alix Canu Bernard, addresses the accusations that the soccer star was allegedly involved in a suspected rape in Stockholm last week. Instead, she states that Mbappé is defamed.

The lawyer emphasizes that the accusations are baseless and that Mbappé was never alone during his visit, which rules out that he would have acted in a reprehensible way.

– A report proves nothing, says the lawyer in an interview with TF1, according to RMC Sport.

She also points out that it is not even clear about the report is aimed at Mbappé.

According to Aftonbladet's information, however, it is the 25-year-old Mbappé himself who is suspected of rape. However, it is unclear whether he was served with any suspicion of crime.

– He was never alone during the evening, he was never in a situation where he would expose himself to any risk. Therefore, it completely excludes that he would have acted in a reprehensible manner. I can tell you that, it is absolutely certain, the lawyer continues.

She says that Mbappé is calm and that he will cooperate with the Swedish authorities if necessary. At the same time, she plans to file a police report for defamation.
