Peter Hultqvist promised to he would never agree to Sweden joining NATO – but then he suddenly changed his mind.
More precisely, Hultqvist stated in an interview that he changed his opinion about Swedish NATO membership on April 11, 2022, when he, together with other unnamed persons, was in a wiretap-proof room with concrete walls at the Ministry of Defence.
This was what Gustav Kasselstrand, party leader of Alternative for Sweden, tried to ask the former Minister of Defense about in connection with a seminar. Kasselstrand also wanted to know how it came about that S dropped his demand for a reservation against nuclear weapons on Swedish soil.
However, Peter Hultqvist refuses to answer the questions and runs away from Kasselstrand. When he finds out who Kasselstrand is and which party he represents, he exclaims:
– But you're not a journalist. Uh, it's good now.
– You're a right-wing extremist.
