Domestic. The Left Party has decided to initiate an exclusion case against Kristofer Lundberg, former chairman of the party association in Angered. The background is Lundberg's support for the terror-classified organization PFLP, as well as criminal suspicions following a report from the journalist Joakim Lamotte.

Party leader Nooshi Dadgostar had previously opened up to a possible exclusion, and now deputy party secretary Maria Forsberg confirms to Göteborgs-Posten that the process has begun.

She explains that the support for PFLP, combined with Lundberg's lack of cooperation during a previous suspension, was decisive for the decision.

Kristofer Lundberg, who was temporarily forced to leave his position as chairman, has criticized the party and called it cowardly. In a written comment to GP, he believes that the media pressure pushed forward the exclusion case.

During the process, Lundberg is suspended and loses his rights as a party member.

The decision has created internal tensions in the party , including in the Gothenburg district, where there has been criticism of the handling of Lundberg.
