According to the German Der Spiegel the police assessed that her presence could lead to disturbances and that more participants than permitted would gather.

In an initial statement, the police described Thunberg as “violent”, but this wording was later removed. Instead, they referred to “recent events related to Thunberg as a person were taken into account in the assessment”.

Greta Thunberg, who has been critical of the police's handling of pro-Palestinian demonstrations, has shared a video on Instagram in which she targets sharp criticism of the actions of the German police. She says she can't believe her eyes when she sees how German police treat “peaceful protesters as if they say no to genocide”.

Greta used to be an icon in politically correct Germany, but is now rather painted as a scoundrel in the land. This is because she criticizes Israel – something that is not accepted in Germany.
