Jones was declared bankrupt after he lost a lawsuit that resulted in a damages verdict of more than a billion dollars, in which he was ordered to pay relatives of the victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting.

The auctions are scheduled to start on the 13 November and Infowars and its assets will be sold piecemeal.

The background to the claim for damages is Jones' claims that the massacre at Sandy Hook was staged, a news that he spread on Infowars. After losing a lawsuit in 2022, Jones filed for personal bankruptcy but has still managed to continue running Infowars.

Jones has encouraged his followers to participate in the auctions in hopes of continuing the business under new ownership.

p>He claims that if the right buyer wins the bids, he can continue working for Infowars even though he no longer owns the company.

The court will oversee the process and the bankruptcy trustee is also trying to include Jones' personal assets in the sale.
