Domestic. Spreading hateful images of Muslims is not as small as spreading corresponding hateful images of Jews. This is claimed by Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M).

It is in a DN interview about the tours around the chairman of the justice committee Richard Jomshof that the Prime Minister gives his view on Jews and Muslims.

— I think anti-Semitism has a special position, for many different reasons. Anti-Semitism has a very unique history and it constantly finds new ways to spread old conspiracy theories, says Kristersson in the interview, among other things.

On DN's question if it is worse to spread hateful images of Jews than to spread corresponding hateful images of Islam, the prime minister replies:

— Yes, spreading anti-Semitism that targets Jews as a people, that is really bad.

It is not the first time that the bourgeois parties have expressed that Jews in particular are worth just as much, especially compared to Muslims.

SD: Revoke the passport of anyone convicted of anti-Semitism.

The liberal Member of Parliament Carl B Hamilton was forced last year resign after giving the following explanation as to why he did not want to vote Jomshof and the SD out of the chairmanship of the justice committee:

— I think the limit is that they would start to speak in the same way about Jews, and that is not impossible. But there is an absolute limit, he told TV4.

Unlike DN, however, TV4 put the statement in the headline, which led to Hamilton being forced to resign.
