Domestic. Which is worse, spreading «anti-Semitic propaganda» or spreading «anti-Muslim propaganda». Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) was asked that question by Dagens Nyheter, and he did not hesitate in his answer.

— I dislike all forms of insults. But I think anti-Semitism has a special position, for many different reasons. Anti-Semitism has a very unique history and it constantly finds new ways to spread old conspiracy theories, says Ulf Kristersson to DN.

On the follow-up question «Is it worse than spreading corresponding hateful images of Islam?» he answers directly «yes», and states that it is «really bad» to «spread anti-Semitism that targets Jews as a people».

The prime minister's comments come after the uproar surrounding the chairman of the justice committee Richard Jomshof (SD), who was investigated for inciting Muslims on Twitter. However, the prosecutor suddenly chose to close the investigation, which surprised many.

Richard Jomshof has indicated that he wants to see an exception for Muslims in the sedition legislation, and has justified it with the fact that Muslims are often anti-Semitic. At the same time, the Sweden Democrats are in favor of the incitement against ethnic group law itself and were involved in expanding the law this summer, when, among other things, it became illegal to «belittle» the Holocaust.
