The suspicion that an attack is behind the sinking of the passenger ferry Estonia in the Baltic Sea has never been properly investigated despite testimonies and findings that point in that direction. Now several Estonia relatives are demanding that the prosecutor's office open a preliminary investigation into the murder of the 852 dead, Ekot reports.

There are 14 survivors and a 20- number of relatives who, in a letter to the public prosecutor, demand that the authority initiate a preliminary investigation into the murder of the deceased.
This after it became clear that the accident commissions in Estonia and Sweden will in principle put forward the same line as when they investigated the same accident 30 years ago: There is nothing strange to see here and the ship sank due to a faulty bow visor.
– We are turning to the highest level of justice to possibly get an answer to reduce this the suffering we have in front of all relatives and survivors, says Anders Eriksson, one of the survivors, to Ekot.
