“Allahu akbar!” – new knife attack in Rotterdam

Foreign. A man attacked several people with a knife at the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Thursday evening. One person was killed and another seriously injured by the attacker who shouted “Allahu akbar” during the attack, reports the Telegraaf.

The attack happened in the city center and the police confirmed that the suspected perpetrator has been arrested.

Local authorities have urged residents to stay away from the area while the police investigation is underway. Security has been increased in the city after the attack, and the police are now investigating whether there is any link to terrorist crimes.
