Media. During the year, the Social Democrats have called the government's plans to tighten the rules for the party's controversial gambling company a threat to democracy. But now SD's YouTube channel Riks has found a video where S themselves demand tougher rules – for other players in the gaming industry.

In a post in social media, the Social Democrats write:

“Are you, like Ardalan Shekarabi, tired of the gambling companies' aggressive marketing and demand tightening? Watch and share the clip!”

In the clip, the then civil minister Ardalan Shekarabi speaks on his characteristic Rinkeby Swedish about how tired he is of the aggressive marketing of games.

“I'm tired of the aggressive marketing. You can't watch TV anymore without seeing game ads,” the minister thunders in the clip.

“We will take measures from the state's side. We will protect Swedish consumers”, he further promises and says that advertising will be “moderate” in the future.

Riks anchor Shekarabi states that Shekarabi seems to be angry at just about everything that S is doing with its controversial lottery Kombipel.

– Is it moderate to deliberately target elderly people, who suffer from dementia, and deceive them, says Brodzinska in the feature with the headline “See the video the sossas wish they had removed”.
