Domestic. A 45-year-old welfare officer from the social service in northern Stockholm is charged with several serious crimes, including rape and robbery, aimed at prostituted women.

The man, who held a high position in social psychiatry and has a university education in care science, is suspected of having committed the crimes during his working hours.
< p>He has admitted during the investigation that he bought sexual services, but denies the rape accusations.
— I sought out these women to suppress my feeling of loneliness, he says in police interrogation, but believes that it never happened about violence or threats.
Several women have come forward and told about abuse and robbery, where the man allegedly threatened them with a knife. The prosecutor is asking for a long prison sentence.
— It is a huge relief for my clients that the man is now being prosecuted, says prosecutor Denis Celo to Expressen.
The trial is ongoing, and the verdict is expected next week .
Social services have started an internal investigation into the man's employment.
