In the video the man, dressed in white trousers, black shoes, a dark top, cap and carrying a shoulder bag, is seen walking towards the residential area Fjärilstigen and Finnstastigen in Upplands-Bro, just before the shooting that took the life of a 35-year-old man.

The murder occurred around 10:00 p.m. and the police suspect that the victim was not the intended target, but that it was a so-called mistaken shooting.

The suspected perpetrator was captured by surveillance cameras as he walked along a house wall and appeared to be searching after something, while holding a mobile phone in his hand.

At 21.57 the man is seen running from the scene and falling in the grass. This is the last trace of the suspected killer.

Police are now asking the public to come forward with tips that may lead to the identification of the shooter. They are especially looking for witnesses who can be seen on the film or people who have made observations in the area at the time of the incident, regardless of whether they have previously been in contact with the police or not.
