Domestic. The Social Democrats have presented over 200 new political proposals before their congress. A large part of them – as many as 86 pieces – focus on strengthening the so-called integration policy.

One of the most discussed the proposals are to abolish the law on own accommodation (ebo), which would limit the right of asylum seekers to choose their own place of residence.
The party's proposals regarding gang crime also include measures such as a new penalty that could mean life imprisonment for young offenders, a new Swedish anti-mafia legislation, as well as a special program to support at-risk families.
According to party secretary Tobias Baudin, these proposals represent the biggest political reform work that the Social Democrats have carried out in several decades. The decisions on the new proposals will be made during the party's congress next year.
