Here Muharrem hugs a “crying elderly lady in the rain” – mocked by SD

Domestic. Center party leader Muharrem Demirok is once again the subject of ridicule on social media after posting a picture of himself hugging an elderly lady. An SD top in Gothenburg has published a similar photograph with himself and another aunt to mock the C leader.

“Swedish infrastructure today “Old ladies are forced to walk in the rain when we are evacuated after hours on a stationary train. Zero info, zero understanding from Västtrafik.”That's what Muharrem Demirok writes in a post on X with a picture showing him hugging an elderly woman outside a taxi standing behind a bus. He continues:

“Then you help each other. But we can't have it like this in 2024. Sweden has to start working again!”

Muharrem Demirok has previously been criticized for the arranged pictures he posts up to appear popular and rural. The post has received many sarcastic responses of the type “You can't be serious with this post?” and “And how lucky the photographer was there for you”.

Jörgen Fogelklou (SD), municipal councilor in Gothenburg, goes a step further and parodies the C leader's post with his own picture showing him hugging an aunt in Gothenburg.
