According to the Russian state news agency TASS, people who reject what the decree describes as “destructive neoliberal ideals” in their home countries will be able to apply for temporary residency in Russia via a simplified and fast application procedure.
In contrast to the Western liberal ideals, “traditional Russian spiritual and moral values” are set.
Visas of up to three months are to be issued as early as next month.
The decree means that applications can be made without the requirement that the applicant be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Russian language, Russian history or laws, writes Business Insider.
