Foreign. The Danish government is now investing in attracting more African students to the country's universities and higher education.

Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (M) claims in an interview with the newspaper Politiken that the investment is not about “altruism or charity” but about satisfying Denmark's own economic interests.
The plan is part of a broader Africa strategy that the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to present at the end of August . The strategy also includes increased investments in funds that will make it easier for Danish companies to establish themselves in Africa.
The Norwegian Parliament already decided last year to increase the number of English-language study places by several thousand, writes TT.
