The moon separates around 14 percent in size depending on how close it is to Earth. Tonight, the moon also shines about 30 percent brighter than when the moon is furthest from Earth.
Several supermoons are on the way during the fall. The next time will be September 18, followed by October 17 when it will be closest this year.
The last time will be November 15, at about the same distance as now.
