According to the indictment, in September 2019 the girl was forced down with her face in horse poo.

The mother, who is 45 years old, committed the crime according to the indictment by physically dragging the girl out of the home, pushing her to the ground and then pressing her face into the poo.

– I am charging the mother with grossly unlawful coercion against the girl for this. Otherwise, she is also charged with gross breach of the peace, where this incident is only part of that crime. Other acts that are part of the gross breach of the peace are still under investigation. There is secrecy and prosecution can tentatively be expected later this autumn, says chamber prosecutor and preliminary investigation leader Nils Eliasson at the Växjö prosecutor's chamber.

The woman is also charged with unlawful coercion (violation of the normal degree) against a then 12-year-old stepson, because he the woman was threatened to chase and detain the girl in connection with the horse poo incident.

– The reason why I split the prosecution is that the crime of illegal coercion has a statute of limitations of five years, says Nils Eliasson.

< p>The prosecutor believes that the crimes are particularly serious because they were committed by a guardian and in front of other siblings, and that they have been part of a long-term and systematic upbringing method.

The trial will include testimony from several family members and other persons who have knowledge of the events.
