X crashed when Trump returned

A common criticism is that this time Trump is running as a purely establishment candidate, offering nothing of substance at all to his voter base , but all the more to various special interests who donated large amounts to his campaign.

When the broadcast started more than 40 minutes later, Elon Musk stated that the site had been subjected to a “massive” so-called DDOS attack, and that that was why it was not possible to listen. The conversation with Trump then began, three quarters of an hour after the appointed time. In front of over a million live listeners, Trump spent a large part of the time talking about the assassination attempt in July.

In retrospect, the conversation was criticized for having been boring and empty of content.

The event was couped by the right-wing profile Nick Fuentes, who in his own live broadcast of the conversation at Rumble had tens of thousands of users spread messages like “NO MORE IMMIGRATION”, “NO WAR WITH IRAN”, “NO FOREIGN MONEY” and “ISRAEL FIRST ADELSON”. These messages topped the trending charts on both X and Truth Social during the broadcast with Musk and Trump.
