The ads on the app Telegram offer up to SEK 500,000 to commit murder and other violent crimes in Denmark.
– It is terrible and deeply frightening that there are apparently so many young people with residence in Sweden who make themselves available for such serious crimes, says Hummelgaard to Danish TV2.
He describes the situation as part of a “completely sick, hardened culture of violence” that seems to have grown up in Sweden.
When TV2's reporter shows the ads for Peter Hummelgaard, he reacts strongly.
– It's terrifying in every way, and I get angry. Really, really angry, he says and adds that Denmark does not tolerate this type of crime.
Hummelgaard also criticizes Sweden and calls on the neighboring country to be tougher.
– Of course we will put pressure on Sweden so that they take responsibility for this, he says.
