The Swedish Embassy in London has updated its travel information and issued an appeal to Swedish citizens in Great Britain.

“Since the beginning of August, riots have taken place in several British cities, motivated by xenophobia. It is strongly recommended to avoid large crowds,” it now says.< /p>

The embassy updates its travel information on an ongoing basis and urges all Swedish travelers to regularly check the embassy's website for the latest information.

Several other countries have previously issued travel warnings to the UK due to the ongoing events.< /p>
