Elon Musk wrote in a post the other day that “civil war is inevitable” in the UK, referring to the ongoing race riots. The outcome has already caused the British government to react.
On Tuesday, Minister of Justice Heidi Alexander also commented on the matter to the BBC. She said that “everyone should call for calm” and that Musk in particular “has a responsibility given the enormous platform he has”.
– To be honest, I think his comments are quite distressing , says Heidi Alexander.
In this context, the minister uses the word “deplorable” – the same word that Hillary Clinton used to describe Trump supporters in an infamous statement before the 2016 presidential election.
The American multi-billionaire is now counterattacking in front of his 193 million followers – and accusing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer of applying double standards.
Elon Musk shares, among other things, a video from a riot in Birmingham where a pub was attacked by an immigrant mob, and asks Starmer why not all groups are protected in Britain.
He also calls the Prime Minister “Two-Tier Keir” which roughly translates to “Keir with the double standards”.

Musk also shares a “Family Guy” meme, joking that by 2030 Britain may reinstate the death penalty for comments on social media disapproved of by the government.

He also reposted another meme showing armed police confronting a woman because of what she expressed on social media, with the comment: “Sounds like today's Britain.”

Musk has also posted a video of a man being arrested for comments he wrote on Facebook, comparing Britain to the Soviet Union.
< p>That the state applies double standards – one for whites and one for non-whites – has become an increasingly common criticism in Britain.
When London's police chief, Mark Rowley, was asked about the double standards by a reporter from Sky News on Monday he reacted by ripping off the reporter's microphone and throwing it to the ground:

Elon Musk brings up several examples of double standards. Among other things, he publishes a picture of two white men who have been sentenced to long prison terms for expressing their opinions. Next to them is an immigrant who got away with 180 hours of community service after repeatedly raping a twelve-year-old girl.
The man in the middle, Samuel Melia, is also serving a two-year prison sentence for distributing stickers with messages critical of immigration.
“What the hell is going on?” summarizes Elon Musk.
