Elon Musk responded to a post by another user on his platform X who writes that “mass immigration and open borders” are the causes of the ongoing race riots in England.

“Civil war is inevitable,” reads the billionaire's reply.< /p>

A spokesperson for Prime Minister Keir Starmers says 'that kind of comment has no justification'.

– What we have seen in this country is organized violent thuggery that has no place whether on our streets or on the internet, adds the spokesperson according to BBC News.

– It is about a minority of thugs who do not represent the UK.

During the last week, 378 people have been arrested in Great Britain after violent riots, British police announce. The number of arrests is expected to increase daily, with around-the-clock work to deal with the situation.

Earlier on Monday, Keir Starmer announced that a “standing army” of specialist police officers would be deployed to combat the violence.

Several countries – including Australia, Malaysia and Nigeria – have issued travel warnings to their citizens due to the unrest in the UK.
