Domestic. Today the annual pride parade takes place in Stockholm from Norr Mälarstrand and to Östermalm IP. Just like last year, all party leaders except Ebba Busch (KD) and Jimmie Åkesson (SD) will participate in the parade.

Ulf Kristersson (M) has confirmed his participation, telling the media that he wants to emphasize the importance of supporting everyone's right to “be who they are and love who they want”.
Ebba Busch will not be attending this year. Her press manager explains that Busch chose to spend time with his family after intensive work weeks.
Johan Pehrson (L) is also participating and is looking forward to “celebrating love” and meeting Ukrainian organizations working for the rights of LGBTQIP people.
Jimmie Åkesson and the Sweden Democrats are not participating, citing that they are not welcome according to Stockholm Pride's previous decision. SD has been ported from Pride since 2014.
Muharrem Demirok (C) participates to demonstrate for “human rights”.
Magdalena Andersson (S), Amanda Lind and Daniel Helldén ( MP) participates to support the rights of LGBTQI people.
Nooshi Dadgostar (V) believes that the Pride Parade is necessary as long as LGBTQI people are subjected to “hate and discrimination”, and sees the parade as a combination of seriousness and joy.
