The high-profile attack in Southport was carried out with a kitchen knife, and the victims have been identified as Bebe, 6, Elsie, 7 and Alice, 9.
Remand hearings were held on Thursday, and the judge decided to lift restrictions on naming the suspect.
This is an unusual decision as the identity of minor suspects is usually classified in Britain.
The judge justified the decision with the need to prevent the spread of incorrect information about the crime.
Rumors had previously spread that the perpetrator was a Muslim asylum seeker, but Axel Rudakubana was born in Great Britain and his family comes from the Christian African country of Rwanda .
Great Britain's new Social Democrat Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned during a meeting with police chiefs “the extreme right-wing hatred”. This is because of the riots that broke out after the crime.
Rudakubana is suspected of murder, attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons.
After the crime, two of the injured children have been able to leave the hospital, while five others still being treated for his injuries. Their condition is reported to be stable according to the BBC.
