During yesterday, two other girls, aged 6 and 7 respectively, died of their injuries after that a Taylor Swift event for children was attacked by a knifeman.

Eight other children were injured, five of whom – between the ages of six and eleven – are in critical condition along with two adult women who, according to the police, “bravely tried to protect” the children.

The arrested 17-year-old is described as “introverted”. He lives in a nearby village with his family, who immigrated to Britain from the Christian African country of Rwanda.

A woman who lives in the same residential area describes the family to the Daily Mail as “nice”. Other neighbors agree with the picture that the family did not stand out in a negative way.

The 17-year-old boy was himself born in Cardiff, but the family moved north to Merseyside about ten years ago.

He is now in custody on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
