The police are looking for a missing man

Domestic. The police want the public's help in finding a man who has been reported missing. Despite intensive search efforts, the man has not been found.

The man, who is 55 years old, was last seen at his home in Gällivare on Tuesday, July 23 at lunchtime.

He is 164 centimeters tall and at the time of his disappearance was wearing a black shirt, jeans, glasses and a dark blue smaller backpack. What type of shoes he was wearing is unclear.

Since the report came in, the police have carried out an intensive search, including close searches and information gathering. Despite the efforts, the search is still ongoing and the police are now appealing to the public for help.

If you see the man, immediately call 112. If you have information or tips about his disappearance, please contact the police on 114 14 and quote “tips” to move on.

The police emphasize that there are currently no indications of a crime, but assess that the man has voluntarily chosen to disappear.
