Climate activists have closed the entire Frankfurt airport

Foreign. Traffic at the giant Frankfurt am Main airport was closed early Thursday morning after climate activists entered the area.

The activists are demanding a global agreement on to “ban fossil fuels” from the year 2030.

The stoppage lasted about three hours and caused delays in Sweden and large parts of Europe.

The day before, climate activists had disrupted air traffic in cities such as London , Cologne and Vienna.
