Foreign. As usual, the applause never stopped when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the US Congress in Washington on Wednesday.

Just like on Netanyahu's previous visit, a large part of the time was taken up with standing ovations from the American politicians.
This time, however, the situation was partly different because of the war. A large number of Democratic members boycotted the speech. So did Republican Thomas Massie, who states on X that he does not want to act as a prop in a propaganda show.
Today Congress will undertake political theater on behalf of the State Department.
The purpose of having Netanyahu address Congress is to bolster his political standing in Israel and to quell int'l opposition to his war.
I don't feel like being a prop so I won't be attending.

Massie said in an interview with Tucker Carlson in June that he is the only Republican member of the House of Representatives who does not have his own “Aipac person” from the Israel lobby telling him how to act and vote.
All Republicans in Congress have their "own babysitter" from the Israel lobby:
Congressman Thomas Massie speaks out at Tucker Carlson.
Just managed to defeat the mighty Aipac himself. https://t.co/u0ZW5mo6vb
