15-year-old girl arrested after murder of 14-year-old

Domestic. A 15-year-old girl has now been arrested on probable cause on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a 14-year-old girl who was found dead in Landskrona on Tuesday.

Police have been working intensively on the investigation over the past 24 hours.

The police have previously questioned a girl under the age of 15 for her involvement in the suspected murder of a high school-age girl who was found deceased in Landskrona.

Interrogations have been held with both girls. There have been certain admissions and information has been provided about the background to the act and what it is that has happened.

– The 15-year-old girl is currently in custody. I will consider whether she should be remanded in custody. In that case, a decision to request her remand will probably come during Friday morning, says prosecutor Tomas Olvmyr in a statement.

– As for their attitude to the suspicion, however, they must primarily be referred to their respective legal counsel. Extensive investigative work remains to clarify the details of what happened, whether what the girls say is true and whether any additional person was involved, he continues.
