Biden, Bill and Hillary Clinton and many Democratic lawmakers quickly came out in support of Kamala Harris. However, other party leaders have delayed their support, such as former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and former President Barack Obama.
