Law & Justice. Afghan Hanif Jafari had maximum bad luck with the judges when his asylum case was to be tried. Now the trial will be repeated – but Hanif is still worried.
– What if there are three Sweden Democrats again? he says to SVT.

Hanif Jafari claims that “Taliban and terrorists” will kill him the second he steps off the plane in Kabul.

It was not a story that either the Swedish Migration Agency or the migration court in Gothenburg deemed particularly credible.

However, the legal judge in the case had found a lifeline and now argued that Hanif Jafari risks “forced labor and abuse” in Afghanistan, citing that he belongs to the Hazara ethnic group.

But there the members of the committee – all three of whom were from the Sweden Democrats – put their foot down. They ran over the referee and decided to send the Afghan home.

– They were not a good feeling, says Hanif to SVT.

He continues:

– I never thought Sweden's system could be like that. That SD is sitting on a migration case.

The political composition of the members of the committee in the case in question drew attention in the media last spring. And now the Migration Court has decided that the case should be re-examined as the judge Ludvig Anderssons wrote posts that criticized the immigration policy – something that could “shake confidence in his impartiality in the case”.

However, Hanif Jafari still does not feel safe, despite his new chance.

– I'm happy about it – but, even if it's a small risk, what if there are three Sweden Democrats again, says Hanif Jafari.
