Domestic. Ahead of the Eritrean cultural festival at Järvafältet, which begins on Thursday, the Stockholm police have made extensive preparations. Among other things, cages have been obtained.

At the police station in Järva, a temporary arrest has been made for 50 people.
– These are wire cages that have been approved to hold suspects pending transfer to another detention center, says police spokesperson Ola Österling to Aftonbladet.
The police have also increased staffing and carried out a “substantial evaluation” of last year's festival, where violent riots broke out between regime-loyal exiles and oppositionists. The experience of last year has led to these extra security measures to prevent similar incidents.
