On Wednesday, it was announced that the American president had been affected by covid-19. According to the White House, he will isolate himself for a time, and then continue with his duties. The symptoms are said to be mild.
– I'm fine, Joe Biden shouted and gave a thumbs up to reporters as he was about to board the presidential plane in Las Vegas for the trip home.
The number of Democratic congressmen who calls for Biden to step aside continue to grow. Adam Schiff is the latest in the line.
“Joe Biden has been one of the most significant presidents in our nation's history, and his lifelong service as senator, vice president and now as president has made our country better,” says Schiff in a statement.
