JD Vance, who is a senator from Ohio, has distinguished himself as a hardline Zionist and, like other American politicians, has received tens of millions of kroner from the Israel lobby.

On Monday evening Swedish time, Donald Trump announced, via his social media platform Truth, that he appointed Vance to his candidate as vice president.

Trump writes that the decision was made “after much deliberation and reflection, and with consideration of the enormous talents of many others”.

In an interview in connection with the Republican convention, he told Vance on his views on Iran.

– Many people realize that we have to do something about Iran – but not these weak little bombings. If you are going to hit the Iranians, you have to hit them hard, he said.

JD Vance was in 2016 an internal opponent of Donald Trump. He is described as influenced by the Jewish so-called dark enlightenment movement online.
