Now a series of information is spreading which allegedly indicates that the authorities either helped the shooter in various ways or that they remained passive despite being aware of the assailant in good time.
Here are some of the oddities surrounding the act.
Warned about the shooter
An eyewitness interviewed live by the BBC after the crime gave a clear description of how he and his party saw the shooter climb onto the roof with a weapon, and how they alerted police officers who were nearby.
The officers showed however, no interest in the man and ignored him, according to the informant, who was forced to watch as Trump continued to stand on stage and talk as if nothing had happened.
– The first thing I thought was: Why haven't they pulled Trump off the podium? You could clearly see this man 2-3 minutes before this happened, the man told the BBC.
On another video you can hear how parts of the public who were closer catch sight of the shooter a few seconds before bangs.
EVIDENCE OF A SET-UP:
– Secret Service did not secure the nearest tall building, ~400 feet from the stage with line of sight
– A ladder had been placed in advance of the shooting on the building

The roof
Many also wonder why the Secret Service, whose snipers were on other nearby rooftops, did not bother to secure the nearby rooftop where the shooter was. According to CNN, the shooter was only 120 to 150 meters from Trump when he fired his shots – well within range of many of the sniper rifles available to anyone on the US market.

The Steps
The suspected shooter reportedly made it to the roof via a ladder, which the police or the security service had not secured. It is unclear whether the ladder was placed there in advance or was a permanent installation in the building, but the fact that the authorities did not bother to secure a nearby roof with an erected or fixed ladder is seen as extra strange by many, including the American right-wing debater Nick Fuentes.
