Domestic. By pretending to be in the summer cottage and in a rental apartment in Örebro, Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M) defrauded the taxpayers of tens of thousands of kroner in incorrect contributions. Now she herself makes a proposal to stop benefit fraud.

According to Svantesson, employers must provide information to the Tax Agency about which employees have been absent from work due to of parental leave or care of children.
The information will then be used by the Social Insurance Agency in its checks on, among other things, the widespread so-called VAB fraud.
– Now it will be easy to access the fraud , says Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M) to Sveriges Radio.
It was between 2014 and 2017 that Svantesson was faked at a series of strange rural addresses when she was in fact living with her family in a condominium in Stockholm.< /p>
She claimed all the time that she really lived in the countryside and did everything right.
