Demonstrators from the climate group Extinction rebellion demonstrated near Malieveld in The Hague, the Netherlands when the police were deployed to disperse the crowd.
Among the protesters is the Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg who, according to Aftonbladet, was arrested by the police, unclear for what.
The police were reported to have used water cannons against the protesters.
Thunberg was convicted in May by the Stockholm District Court of two counts of disobedience to the authorities after carrying out a climate action outside the Riksdag and refusing to leave the scene when the police asked her to do so.
