Foreign. An Israeli settler monitoring organization reports that Israel has taken over a significant area of land in the occupied West Bank.

According to Peace Now, which is critical against the settlements, Israeli authorities on Wednesday approved the confiscation of 12.7 square kilometers of land in the Jordan Valley.
The organization says this is the largest area of land Israel has seized in 30 years.
A large portion of the international community regards the settlements in the West Bank as illegal.
