Foreign. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is now visiting Ukraine – for the first time since Russia's invasion in 2022.

The visit attracts attention as the Hungarian leader is an outspoken opponent of the war and wants to see peace negotiations.
Hungary has previously opposed several EU decisions on support for the war. Orban has also been against starting negotiations on EU membership for Ukraine.
The Hungarian prime minister also believes that Ukraine treats the Hungarian minority in the country unfairly.
