Frostpunk 2 release date has been moved to September 20

The release date of the strategy game Frostpunk 2 has been postponed to September 20. The game was initially scheduled to be released on July 25, but according to developer 11 Bit Studios, more time is needed to prepare Frostpunk 2 for release.

11 Bit Studios writes in an extensive post that it has received a lot of feedback received as a result of the closed beta. The developer notes that players are generally satisfied with the game. “But to do justice to the new additions, we have decided to postpone the release date,” writes 11 Bit.

The studio explains the planned additions to Frostpunk 2 in the post. For example, the developers plan to make the behavior of the factions more in line with the lore of the game, introduce various improvements to the hud and add a 'Zoom Stories' function. This feature lets the player zoom in on a specific building or part of town so he can see what the citizens are doing.
