OpenAudible 4.3

Version 4.3 of OpenAudible has been released. This program can be used to manage audiobooks. It is available for Windows, Linux and macOS, can download audiobooks directly from audible.com and can save and convert files to m4b and mp3 format. In this way, the program is comparable to Calibre, which does the same thing, but for e-books. Unlike Calibre, however, it is not open source. The program can be tested for thirty days, but to release all functionality, a one-time purchase of a license is required. The changelog for this release can be found below.

Changes in OpenAudible version 4.3

  • New Cover Art Export feature. Lets you export a large image of all (or some) of your audiobook cover artwork.
  • Added ability to disable automatic meta updates on full rescan, which can preserve edits made to the meta data.
  • Added details to the “Book Report” tab on the Get Info dialog..
