Minisforum equips the UM890 Pro with an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor with eight Zen 4 cores and a TDP of 45W. The device also has two SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 96GB of DDR5 memory and two M.2-2280 slots with PCIe 4.0 interface. Minisforum supplies the mini PC as barebones without memory and SSD, but can also supply a maximum of 64GB of memory and a 1TB SSD from the factory.
The UM890 Pro uses the integrated Radeon 780M GPU in the AMD processor as standard. There is also an OCuLink port on the back of the device. The mini PC also has two USB4 connections, four USB-A ports with 10Gbit/s bandwidth, an HDMI port and a DisplayPort connection , two 2.5Gbit/s Ethernet ports and a 3.5mm jack. The device is powered by a 19V DC power supply. Minisforum says it will deliver the PC from the end of July. The barebone variant has an official recommended retail price of 689 euros.
