Anna Ardin on Assange: Hope he stops “preying on women”

It was in August 2010 that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange visited Sweden and was received like a rock star by various left-wing people.

Anna Ardin, who was previously involved in the Brotherhood Movement (now Social Democrats for Faith and Solidarity) and today is a deacon, arranged the trip and Assange stayed with her.

On August 13 and 14, Assange managed to have sex with both Anna Ardin and then another woman in Enköping. Both women were dissatisfied with their experiences and a while later they talked to each other and reported Assange for sex crimes. Anna Ardin claimed that he had somehow torn the condom before he had consensual sex with her. The other woman also stated that he had had unprotected sex with her without her consent.

It was the beginning of the 14-year press for the Wikileaks founder, who spent most of that time as a prisoner – first in the Ecuadorian embassy in London and then in a British prison.
